Make a donation to support our organising and campaigning for a fair and sustainable Hunter region.

Our Alliance is independently funded by our members and donors – and every dollar counts. Your donation will help fund our work organising with communities and putting the local issues affecting people in the Hunter on the agenda for change.

This work has included important wins and milestones such as:

$12 million committed for social housing investment in Newcastle LGA
Commitments for 100% emissions reductions in Lake Macquarie and Newcastle LGAs by 2035
Better data collection on homelessness in Lake Macquarie and Newcastle
An agreement to investigate unused property in Newcastle for short-term emergency housing
Training more than 100 Hunter residents in Community Organising
Leadership opportunities for people with lived experience expertise of disability, family and domestic violence, child removal, and homelessness
Advocating successfully for an additional 16,500 places for Afghan refugees in 2022-2023
