Hunter Community Alliance is funded by the financial contributions of its partners. Partners delegate representatives to the leaders council, which steers the strategic direction of the Alliance.
Our alliance is non-partisan and must remain independent so it can represent the authentic views and needs of the Hunter's people. Independence is achieved by creating a diverse partnership of organisations that broadly reflect the community in the Hunter.
We continue to develop relationships with community and organisation leaders to explore their interest in building power with the Alliance.
Partnership is always open to organisations that share the values and principles of the Alliance and wish to work for the Common Good of the Hunter.
The Hunter Community Alliance is made up of our partner organisations, and we rely on the extensive leadership that exists in those organisations to bring together diverse community organisations, unions and religious organisations to advance the common good and achieve a fair, just and sustainable city.
